Each year, the City of Zurich x Cité internationale des arts programme enables 2 artists to take up residencies in the heart of Paris for a period of 6 months. It is aimed at artists with professional training in the visual arts who have been living in Zurich for at least a year.

The partner of this programme :
The City of Zurich’s Department of Cultural Affairs supports cultural institutions and initiatives in Zurich. The majority of grants go to internationally recognised institutions such as the Kunsthaus Zurich, as well as establishments such as the Kunsthalle, Museum Haus Konstruktiv, Cabaret Voltaire and the Shedhalle. The department also supports the local artist community and self-organised projects (e.g. artist-run spaces) through grants, subsidies and regular acquisitions of artworks for the city’s extensive collection. The residency scheme at the Cité internationale des arts is a long-standing commitment to Zurich’s art scene.
