Residency programme for FAAP students, graduates and teachers
The programme
Every year since 1997, the Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado x Cité internationale des arts programme has enabled two FAAP students, alumni or professors to come to the Cité for a 6-month residency. On their return to São Paulo, the winners present the works they created during or shortly after their residency as part of the Anual de Arte FAAP event.

The Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado was founded in 1947 in São Paulo according to the last wishes of businessman Count Armando Alvares Penteado who wanted to establish a Fine Arts School. Today, the institution evolved into a large complex for higher education offering a wide range of academic programmes across various fields of knowledge, in addition to an artist’s residency in São Paulo and the Museu de Arte Brasileira MAB FAAP.
