Programme for artists from the French overseas territories

Initiated in 2020, on~des is a residency program for artists residing or originating (artists currently residing in France or abroad) from French overseas departments and territories (DOM and TOM). It is aimed at artists of all disciplines who wish to develop a research and creation project in Paris for three months.

The programme offers meetings with artists and cultural professionals, as well as active participation in the life of the Cité internationale des arts. The laureates also benefit from a living and working space, and financial support.

On~des is part of the actions carried out by the Cité internationale des arts for overseas artists. It is supported by the Ministry of Overseas France.

• Work and live in the French overseas departments, territories and collectivities
• Have been developing an artistic practice for at least 5 years
• Be a visual artist, a curator, a musician, a dancer or a choreographer, a playwright, an architect or a designer
