Every year, the Visarte Switzerland x Cité internationale des arts programme gives 4 visual artists who are members of the association the opportunity to take up residencies at the Cité for a period of 3 months.

The partner of this programme :
Visarte is the professional association of visual artists, architects and independent curators in Switzerland. It represents their interests at a political and social level. As the oldest professional organisation for artists (founded in 1866), Visarte advocates for good framework conditions in connection with artistic creation and advises its current 3000 members. In addition to the national organisation – Visarte Switzerland – there are 18 regional groups, and a group of women artists, Visarte Donna.
